My favorite story out of the scriptures is Helamen’s stripling warriors. They listened to thier mothers and because they were prepared they didn’t fear. They lived through a major battle even though they were just young boys.

Obedience is very important in our lives and we should always try to be obedient.

Read about this story in the Book of Mormon

My favorite is the story of Helaman’s two thousand stripling sons, about their faith and courage.

From the Bible: The story of David is a must read for all.

From the Book of Mormon: Moroni walking alone with the record of the people and the fact that he wrote more. We derive so much of our practices from the few more things he wrote.

One of my favorites is where God gives all of us encouragement to test all things with scripture and how to tell if someone who is claimed to be a prophet really is a prophet. Deuteronomy 18:21-22. “You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.”…..D&C 84:114-115, D&C 87
Deuteronomy 18:19
